If you nurture it enough -- meaning you allow that hatred to come into your mind once a day or more -- it will slowly destroy you. Look at this scenario. You hate someone. That hatred is fueled by the fact that others, maybe many people, already hate this person. Let’s look at what that does to you, personally. You get upset when someone brings up his name. Whatever happens then depends on how you act when you are upset, but the worse part is you are NOT in a productive state. If you are not in a productive state, chances are, whatever happens won’t be good. If you get upset over the same person enough times, you then are automatically triggered. You get even more upset *every time* someone brings up his name. Again, you are NOT in a productive state. Your friends and your family are concerned about you, and about where this hatred is going, because they see your life is now revolving around this. What does all this do to your body? Think about it. Nothing you think gets past your body. If you think good thoughts, you have happy cells. If you think bad thoughts you have unhappy cells. It’s as simple as that. Unhappy cells lead to disease. Believe it. Do you know how anger works? Try this. Visualize your bad thoughts going out in a beam. But that beam of bad thoughts comes right back at you! How does that feel? Not so good, right? That’s a given. What goes around comes around. However, look at this. If they are good thoughts, they are beaming right back at you, too. How does that feel? Better and better, right? Now, visualize this. Your good thoughts go to a person, the person blossoms in the good feelings he or she is receiving. He or she doesn’t know why, but they are happier for a moment or more, more at peace. You know why? Because thoughts are a form of energy and energy moves according to its thought form. Now, visualize this. Your bad thoughts go to a person, bad thoughts come back to you, only worse. That’s the way of the universe. The more bad thoughts, anger, that go to a person, the worse the person retaliates. Again, that’s the way of the universe. Now, look at this. You and MANY others send good thoughts -- you’ve taken charge. Now, send love in your beam. Love really does conquer hate. Especially inside our bodies. So here’s what you can do for yourself right now. Stop the hatred right now. Forget what has happened and focus on what you can do. Don’t visualize what he, the person you were hating, has done. Don’t imagine what he is capable of doing. See only what you want to see. In other words, only what you want coming back to you. Good, healthy thoughts. Thank you for reading. Jan P.S.
