Did you know that the words we attach to our experience
become our experience?
Our language shapes our experience of life. This is very
close to watch what you wish for, only it's watch what you
continually say or think.
One thing that shows you've said something once too often
is the sentence, "I *knew* this would happen!"
HOW did you know this would happen?
You've said "I'm so clumsy."
You trip.
You say, "I knew this would happen."
Stop saying you are clumsy. Replace it with something like,
"I tripped, but I'm not really clumsy." Or, "I used to be clumsy,
but I'm getting more coordinated." Anything that gives you
hope.
TIP: The most important time in a person's life is right after
they *trip,* or whatever. What do they say to themselves?
If they say how bad they are, what does their brain have
to go on for next time? Monitor what you say and think -- so
that next time WILL be better.
Here's an article that may help. I Knew That Would Happen!
