Decide from now on that your ways to feel good &lt;br /&gt;are pretty easy, and your ways to feel bad are going to be &lt;br /&gt;pretty hard.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Decide from now on that it's too much trouble to feel bad &lt;br /&gt;if supper isn't ready on time. Decide that it's too much &lt;br /&gt;trouble to feel bad if your favorite team loses a game. &lt;br /&gt;Decide that it's too much trouble to feel bad if you don't &lt;br /&gt;meet a self-imposed deadline.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Realize how easy it is to feel good even if the sun doesn't &lt;br /&gt;shine. Realize how easy it is to feel good even if you are &lt;br /&gt;late for work. Realize how easy it is to feel good even if &lt;br /&gt;you don't meet your goal this week. You can try again &lt;br /&gt;next week.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Decide to feel good and you will feel good. Decide to feel &lt;br /&gt;bad and you will feel bad. If you like the feeling you get as you &lt;br /&gt;mimic them, rewind the tape and do it again and again. Most people don't know that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If someone said to you that you could learn to dance in five &lt;br /&gt;sessions, you would believe them, because you know you &lt;br /&gt;can learn that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mental habit patterns as well as physical habit patterns are &lt;br /&gt;learned by following the very same process. Repetition.&lt;br /&gt;People can learn to be nice just as easily as they learned &lt;br /&gt;to be nasty.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Try this. Smile and think good thoughts every hour on &lt;br /&gt;the hour until it comes automatically.
