Joy Guides come to keep us laughing when life gets too tough, too serious. When the process of growth becomes overwhelming.
When can you expect to see a Joy Guide in your life? Whenever you need her.
When we lose site of our perspective, a Joy Guide will dance through.
A Joy Guide will bring those silly moments where you break into laughter for no reason at all. Joy Guides love to attend funerals. They love to come to you when you are in the middle of an argument. They bring their joy when you are hopelessly lost, reminding you that God is with you always.
Joy Guides bring perspective into your life.
If you are depressed and lonely, ask a Joy Guide to come sit with you a while. When you are upset with the family, ask a Joy Guide to be with you. If you are at the end of your rope, whisper a prayer for the Joy Guide to sit on your shoulder and guide you.
If you've ever had items in your house moved around, shifted, consider that a Joy Guide has come to visit. That is one way they like to get your attention.
They show up when you are preoccupied and not living in the moment. They make you come out of your shell. It's like they are saying, "Come. Pay attention to the good things in life."
Listen to your Joy Guide. Laugh with your Joy Guide. Rejoice with your Joy Guide.
There, don't you feel so much better? Isn't your Joy Guide terrific? Can't you feel her love? You might just as well start calling for her the second you need her. She is here to make your life worth living. ^j^
