Some people don't realize the
responsibility attached to that question.

Some don't realize YOU must take personal responsibility
for your change. No one can do it for you. If they did, your
change wouldn't be permanent.

In fact, any change you make will be temporary unless YOU
take responsibility for your change. In my practice, I always
ask "Are YOU ready to take responsibility for this change?
Will YOU implement it now?" Will YOU make it permanent?

We have all created what we are experiencing. If we have
created what we have, then we can create what we want to have.
Before that can happen, we have to know, feel, acknowledge
that we MUST change, that we MUST change our
circumstances, and that we CAN change it all.

What do you think?

Here is an article that may help: 6 Steps To Making A Big
Change In Your Life Http://www.tameyourbrain.com/6steps.htm

Thanks for reading,

Jan

P.S. How about these?

Do you repeat the same daily motions to start your day?

Do you go to the store the same way every time?

How about when you get angry? Do you take the same steps?

First, you have a thought. Then, your body tenses up. Then,
you say the wrong things.

Well, if this isn't what you want in your life, you can change.
You can change the sequence and come up with a different
response. For instance, you can have the thought that normally
starts the anger routine. Then, you realize what is about to
happen and you laugh. Yes, you laugh. Out loud. That stops
the routine of getting angry before you say and do things you'll
regret.

Anger is usually just an unconscious pattern that you have.
Change the pattern, change the outcome.

Here is an article that may help, *Is Anger A Way Of Life For
You?*. Members work cooperatively to improve their communication skills while at the same time capitalizing on the companionship of others. It is the club's constant quest to better its members that has allowed them to feature such accomplishments.

In 2008, there are more than 226,000 members and over 11,500 clubs located across the United States and in 91 other countries. Toastmasters members belong to local clubs, which generally have between six and 40 members, with 20 members being a typical size. The local clubs meet on a regular basis for members to practice various skills useful in public speaking, including giving speeches, speaking extemporaneously, listening, and providing each other with feedback and evaluation. Some clubs meet monthly, some meet twice a month, and some meet weekly.

They learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. Each meeting gives members opportunities to practice speaking which has been prepared or rehearsed, listening, evaluating, impromptu speaking, thinking, organizational skills and leadership. The Toastmasters program is self-paced and has been helping people improve for over 80 years.

The Toast Master will introduce the prepared speeches. These are given by club members who typically will have had a number of weeks to prepare the speeches in advance. While they can choose the subject of the speech themselves, they will be expected to emphasize certain aspects of their speaking style in accordance with the guidelines for that speech. Speeches normally last between four and eight minutes, depending on the speech being delivered.

Members stay with the Toastmasters program to continually hone their communication skills. Unlike seminars in public speaking that last 3 to 5 days, Toastmasters provides members with regular speaking opportunities with constructive feedback on their effectiveness, throughout the year. Members select their own pace.

Thanks for reading,

Jan

Toastmasters http://www.tameyourbrain.com/blogtoastmasters/

-~~~~~~~~~

Publishers, you are welcome to reprint this article in its entirety provided you retain the above resource box and include this notice.

Motivating Tips!

===========================================
NLP Motivational Tip For The Day by Jan Tincher, Master
Neuro-Linguistic Programmer Motivating Tips
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Do you have ways to feel good?

Do you have ways to feel bad?

Can you change your ways so that you have more ways to
feel good and less ways to feel bad? It's really not that
difficult. Decide from now on that your ways to feel good
are pretty easy, and your ways to feel bad are going to be
pretty hard.

Decide from now on that it's too much trouble to feel bad
if supper isn't ready on time. Decide that it's too much
trouble to feel bad if your favorite team loses a game.
Decide that it's too much trouble to feel bad if you don't
meet a self-imposed deadline.

Realize how easy it is to feel good even if the sun doesn't
shine. Realize how easy it is to feel good even if you are
late for work. Realize how easy it is to feel good even if
you don't meet your goal this week. You can try again
next week.

Decide to feel good and you will feel good. Decide to feel
bad and you will feel bad. Tape a talk show, like Jay Leno or David Letterman, and
mimic the guest stars that you like and admire. Sit as they do, talk
as they do, walk as they do. If you like the feeling you get as you
mimic them, rewind the tape and do it again and again. Do this
preferably late at night, so your body and mind will *sleep* on it.
The next morning, see if your body doesn't unconsciously duplicate
what you had mimicked last night.

Here is an article that will help: Http://www.tameyourbrain.com/model.htm

Thanks for reading,

Jan

P.S.
