Do You Work With The Physical Or The Mental?
~ By Jan Tincher

Do you work with the physical or the mental? Your reality or your thoughts? Both, right? But which one do you work with the most . . .

Many people just work with what they consider their reality. They think they know what is real and what isn't.

They haven't learned this important rule in life: Do not let the physical overtake the mental.

The physical is a manifestation of the mental, meaning the more you think about it, the better the chances are that you'll manifest it. That being the case, which would you want to work with most?

If you spent 100% of your day doing the physical part of life, and didn't leave any time for the mental, not much in your life will change. Why? Because when you keep doing the same thing, using the same thought patterns, you keep accomplishing what? The same thing. Over and over, without actual change.

Why not try this little experiment for a week?

Start your day with a relaxation period. When you sit down to relax, have a piece of paper and a pencil close by. On that paper, have a list of the things you want to accomplish today.

Play some soothing music and relax. Visualize a calendar of today with the hours on it. At 9 a.m. you want to accomplish this, 10 a.m. you want to accomplish that. And so forth.

If you have something you want to do, but you don't know how to do it, just sit for a few minutes and visualize it in its finished state. See yourself accomplishing it and feeling successful. Then, go on to the next task you want to accomplish. See how well that goes, how the people involved are happy to be with you and how easily they work with you.

NOTE: If your "reality" isn't as such, for instance, the people aren't happy to work with you and haven't been, why-should-they-be-now type of situation, all the more reason to change it in your mind so that you can attract those changes into your life.

When noon comes around and you are eating and, hopefully, relaxing, review the day's successes so far and continue to see success in the afternoon -- no matter what has happened that might indicate the opposite, no matter what your "reality" is.

Before you go to bed in the evening, sit for a minute and review the successes you had this day. Make sure you are relaxed as you visualize. If you didn't get the success you wanted, keep visualizing it for tomorrow. In this time period, you need to see success. Whether it happened already or not, visualize that it did happen, feel how it felt to be successful and project that feeling of success into tomorrow.

This way of working with visualization makes going to work much easier, reduces the stress you may have been experiencing, and makes your day a better day. Because even if today wasn't a good day for you, you can still make it a good day in your mind and project more success into tomorrow. What you see (in your mind), and believe, you can achieve. Give yourself time for your brain to catch on to what you really want and what you expect.

Don't look at what you have. Look at what you will have. Because, regardless, you are projecting into the future.

Good luck!

Thanks for reading,

Jan
