Inner Team Copyright ©

Your inner team is the sum of your thoughts. All of your thoughts need to go in the same direction in order for you to be totally congruent. If one part wants to lay around all day, the rest of your parts are going to have a tough time getting anything done. Although many people work with congruency, most don't know there are four parts of your brain that work toward being congruent and each of those parts have to be addressed if you want to make changes. The four parts of your brain are your inner team. You want your inner team all on the "same page", you don't want conflict. In order to succeed, the four parts of your brain need to harmonize. What are the four parts of your brain? One part is your left brain which deals in words and logic. Another part is your right brain that deals with arrangement, rhythm, sound, patterns, and symbols. Then, there is your mid brain that deals with emotions. And, last but not least, there is your brain stem that deals with physical stimulation. You need to work with all four parts when you want to be totally congruent. In order to accomplish this, you need to utilize words and logic, arrangement, rhythm, sound, patterns and symbols, emotions, and physical stimulation. Here's a way to work with them. Write down your goal, then make the following list. Touch Now, after each word write how your goal is affected by each. How does your
goal feel when you touch it or whatever represents it? When you have answered these questions, you have a better feel about your goal. Rate your response to each category. Check it out carefully, then give it a number from 1 (not so great) to 10 (fantastic!). Look at how
you rated each item. If it doesn't rate a 10, work with it until
it does. If you say you feel a certain way toward your goal and
it doesn't feel right, then change the way you feel until you can
be happy with it and rate it a 10. Like, "I love thinking about
my goal." What if you realize you don't, really? Change it
to say something that feels a lot better. "I love thinking
about how my goal will affect my life" is a way of changing
it. Work with yours until you have all 10s. This is a handy little test. Work with it in everything you do and see if it doesn't change how you get many of the things you thought you wanted.
