You don’t like it when people say “It will be OK,” and you KNOW “it” won’t be? You think to yourself, “How can they stand there and say things like that? They don’t know.” Then do you top it off with, “I’m not being negative, I’m being realistic!”
What is the difference between them and you?
Well, actually the other people could have been feeling terrible. But maybe they pulled themselves out of it by changing their view of the situation, looking ahead and knowing that this too shall pass.
Maybe they realize — and maybe you do, too, now — that negative thinking NEVER got them anything good. Maybe they realize — and maybe you do, too, now — that when they thought negatively, guess what? NEGATIVE things happened!
Maybe they actually LEARNED from those experiences, and that’s how they went from negative thinkers to positive thinkers. They wised up and saw that they didn’t like what happens when they think negatively.
And you can “wise up”, too. What do you think? If you are a negative person, do you think you can change? Sure you can. Here’s how.
Start taking control of your thoughts. Start finding the good things in life, so that they can start happening more and more frequently to you!
I know you can do it! How do I know that? Because I KNOW that if you can think, you can change. You just have to decide to do that.
